These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LookupSwiss validation API and website. By creating an account or sending a request to the API, you accept these Terms.
The service is provided by [Ivan Laginestra], located in Switzerland. Contact: laginestraivan3@gmail.com.
LookupSwiss is a REST API for validating phone numbers and email addresses. The validation result is generated using libphonenumber, RFC-compliant parsing, disposable-domain lists, and (planned) third-party carrier and SMTP lookups. The Service is offered "as is" and "as available".
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:
Phone and email validation rely on heuristics, public registries, and third-party data sources. We do NOT guarantee 100% accuracy of any individual result. Decisions you make based on a validation result (e.g. refusing a signup, blocking a transaction) are solely your responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, we exclude all liability for incorrect results, missed validations, false positives, or false negatives.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You may cancel anytime from the billing portal; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, unless required by mandatory applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise by LookupSwiss on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change with 30 days’ written notice; you may cancel before the change takes effect.
The free plan includes 100 credits and does not require payment. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate free accounts at any time without notice. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month and are generally not refundable, unless required by mandatory applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt fraud, or fail to pay. We will attempt to notify you when reasonably possible, but no notice is required for abuse or fraud.
All rights to the LookupSwiss brand, code, design, and documentation remain with [Ivan Laginestra]. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced here and notified to account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Swiss substantive law (excluding conflict-of-law rules and the CISG). Exclusive jurisdiction is at the ordinary courts of Kanton Aargau, Switzerland.
